Flying Wall – World record attempt
Potsdamer Platz, 15 July 2010
Today Potsdamer Platz became the centre of a spectacular event: an original segment of the Berlin Wall, which in the previous days had been signed by more than 1,000 locals and tourists, was lifted by helicopter 100 metres to the 24th floor of the Kollhoff Tower. The piece of the wall is the crowning glory of the unique open air exhibition "VIEWS OF BERLIN on Potsdamer Platz", which was then officially opened this evening by human rights activist Joachim Gauck, who was chosen as the segment's sponsor.
The “Flying Wall” is the crowning glory of the exhibition “VIEWS OF BERLIN on Potsdamer Platz”, which will open today in the new PANORAMAPUNKT.
