10 a.m.:
The wait is over: managing director Paul Heinen cuts the red ribbon and officially re-opens the popular viewing platform at Potsdamer Platz 1 – for Berliners and tourists from around the world. PANORAMAPUNKT, now with a stylish café und a sensational roof terrace, welcomes its first visitors.
11 a.m.:
170 visitors and counting...
1 p.m.:
The sun is shining down on the city, and the guests are all smiles:
